I just took them out to make the video and then put them right back in their boxes. I am going to try to make a decision this week. The Husky Liners X-act Contour perfectly matches the contours of your truck or SUV and brings together. The Weatherbeaters have a more aggressive look, which I prefer. I wish they were as dark as the Weatherbeaters. Hopefully someone can chime in and give some input on fit. Im also curious about the fit of the Husky Weatherbeater mats with rubberized floors. They likely need separate molds for rubberized floors vs carpeted floors. I am wondering if Armor All would help with that. When users prefer stability and strength, they will feel comfortable with Husky WeatherBeater. Both brands are tough, Xacts work for me for the reasons above. Car/truck floors are going to look like hell anyway if you drive at all, particularly in Montana. I don't care how it looks and it doesn't look bad. The Exact seems just as thick as when first bought although there is a dent where the heel goes. The cheapos last about six months before you realize all the water/slush/dirt is going onto the floor (see one Subaru nasty floor in garage). That point where your gas pedal heel goes is always the weak point with any liner. Ohh, a little scuff on the rubber? Bwaaa. The WeatherBeater is made with thermoplastic olefins, or TPO. If you like to go barefoot in the car and still have something to squish your feet against, this is the mat for you. Brand new like the videos is the first 10 minutes of their life. The main difference is that the X-act Contour uses a special rubber material called DuraGrip that’s known for its soft, pliable feel. Husky X-Act Contours are a true floor mat. The Xacts tend to hide the nasty, while the contrast in the Weather Techs tends to highlight the nasty. The advantage of the Weatherbeaters over the WeatherTech is that they are more pliable and have a built in ridge to capture water and dirt vice allowing it to run off under the door and gum up the door seals. They looked so much better though than the Xacts, NOT. the process involved cussing, head scratching, seat moving and more cussing. I saw a guy trying to get them out at the car wash. Weather Techs? You would have to first get a towel and get most of the nasty stuff out before you could get the Weather techs out and by then, you wouldn't need to do anything except throw the towel out or wash it.
You will appreciate that lip that comes out over the edge of the door bottom. They come out no problem, fold as you take them out and just dump and put back in, and the floor is pristine.
Winter in Montana is a mess and every warm day (about four of them between December and April) I would take them out and dump the slush/water/dirt. I switched them to the new crew cab they are Xact for and have kept going with them. I bought originally for my quad cab that they were not supposed to fit "exactly." I couldn't tell. I have the Xacts now into the third year.
